Jardim de Ciclos Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 21, 2026.
This policy explains how the Jardim de Ciclos app handles data when you play on iOS or Android. The app is provided by DGS Developer. The game does not require an account, and DGS Developer does not receive your locally saved progress through its own server.
Data stored on your device
The app stores your free and daily gardens, scores, and selected language locally so you can continue using the game. The daily garden is determined by your device's local date. Saved progress is not sent to a DGS Developer server. Optional measurement events may be sent to Google Analytics for Firebase, as described below. The Daily Garden and full round state remain local. If you choose to connect a gaming service, only eligible Free Garden scores may be sent to the selected platform as described below. You can delete local data by clearing the app's data in your device settings or uninstalling it.
The core game does not require an internet connection. The app does not ask for your name, contacts, or precise location to create an account or play.
Leaderboards (Google Play Games / Game Center) are disabled in version 1.1.0: no scores are sent or connected.
Leaderboards if re-enabled in a future version
You can choose to connect Game Center on iOS or Google Play Games on Android from the leaderboard screen. Connection is optional and is not required to play. The platform service provides the app with the connected profile's identifier and name or alias. The identifier is saved locally to bind the pending submission queue to the account; the name or alias stays only in the app's memory and is not saved on the device.
Only Free Garden scores can participate. The app stores up to two best scores for the current week locally: one for rounds without help and one for rounds with help. The queue stores the score, week, local timestamp, and submission status, and is associated with the player's identifier. After you connect, the best eligible score may be submitted automatically after a move, when you return to the app or reconnect, or when you request a pending submission. The numeric score is sent directly to the platform service with the leaderboard identifier and the authenticated local player context. The Daily Garden, board state, language, and local date are not sent to a DGS Developer server. The platform receives and displays scores under its own rules; your profile name or alias may appear on leaderboards. See Apple's Privacy Policy or Google's Privacy Policy.
You can turn off submissions on the leaderboard screen. This clears the local queue of scores that have not yet been submitted and prevents new submissions through the app; it does not sign you out of Game Center or Google Play Games. Scores already submitted are not deleted by the app and must be managed through the provider's available options.
Advertising and Google services
Mobile versions may show a banner and optionally offer a rewarded video that frees one board cell. These ads are provided by Google Mobile Ads (AdMob). Google’s SDK and its partners may process technical and usage data, such as IP address, device or advertising identifiers, device and operating system information, approximate location, ad interactions, and diagnostic or fraud-prevention signals to deliver, measure, and protect ads. Processing may vary by device, region, and your privacy choices.
At most one interstitial ad may be shown every 2 minutes. Each round ends at the first forest; the app may show an interstitial when the player taps Continue after seeing the earned piece, or after the player confirms Restart on a started garden. Starting a New Game while the current garden is still playable does not create an ad opportunity. The first processed end or confirmed restart of a started garden is exempt, according to saved history on this device; the exemption does not renew each session. Progress is saved before any ad. Ad display remains subject to consent choices and ad availability. If an ad is unavailable, the game continues without waiting and no delayed ad is shown.
The app requests non-personalized ads. This does not mean that no technical data is processed: data may still be needed to deliver ads, limit frequency, measure results, and protect the service. See the Google Privacy Policy and Google's information about data in apps that use its services.
Where required in your region, Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) presents consent and privacy choices before the app requests ads. You can review your choices under Settings > Privacy when the form is available. If there is no valid consent or an ad is unavailable, you can still play; ads and video help may not be shown.
On iOS, the app may also request the system's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission before initializing the ads SDK. This choice is separate from UMP choices and can be changed in iOS Settings. Declining does not prevent you from playing. ATT does not apply on Android.
Optional usage measurement (Google Analytics for Firebase)
Measurement is off by default and turns on only if you allow it under Settings > Privacy. You can turn it off at any time, and declining does not affect gameplay. When enabled, it records round start and end events, forest completion, and help usage. These events may include garden mode, board size, rules version, score, turns, medals, help use, duration, and end reason. They may also record when a painting is unlocked, saved, or applied as wallpaper and when an interstitial ad is shown. Firebase also collects the app-instance ID and device and operating-system data. We use this information to understand and improve the game. We do not send your name, gaming profile, full board, or daily seed to Analytics. Ad personalization in Analytics remains off. Ad storage and ad-user data are enabled only when you also consent to ad tracking.
Sharing, retention, and transfers
DGS Developer does not sell your data or receive your full game progress on its own server. Saved gardens remain on your device until you clear the app's data or uninstall it. If you turn on optional measurement, the events and round statistics described above are sent to Google Analytics for Firebase. If you choose to use leaderboards when they are available, eligible scores are shared directly with the selected platform's gaming service, which handles profile and score data under its own policies and settings. Google and its partners also handle data needed for advertising under their own policies and retention periods. These services may operate in other countries and involve international transfers.
Security
Game data held by DGS Developer remains in your device storage and is subject to that device's protections and settings. No storage or transmission method can be considered entirely risk-free.
Your rights and choices
You can delete local progress by clearing the app's data or uninstalling it, turn off future leaderboard submissions from the leaderboard screen, and review ad choices using the control described above when available. Scores already submitted must be managed through the relevant gaming service. To ask questions or exercise rights under applicable privacy laws, contact us at the address below. Requests concerning data handled directly by Apple or Google can also be made through those providers' privacy controls.
Children's privacy
Jardim de Ciclos is intended for audiences aged 13 and older and was not specifically designed for children. The game does not create its own account or require identifying information to work. If someone voluntarily connects a gaming profile, that profile data is handled by the selected platform service. Parents and guardians can review Apple's and Google's policies and controls for those services and advertising.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the app or its data practices change. The current version and its update date will be available on this page. When appropriate, we may also announce changes in the app or on its store page.
